Dance Hall Artist Mavado Is Coming To Kenya

Jamaican dance hall is headed to come to Kenya in months to come.Previously we have seen dance hall artist Koshens  and Alaine in the country for several concerts and all of them have born fruits.

The Kingston raised Jamaican whose real names are David Constantine  is currently sealing a deal with the Norway based Kenyan producer to facilitate him to have a smooth performance in Kenya.

 






Mavado has worked  along side other artists like  Nicki Minaj ,Akon,Busta Rhymes,Ace , Snoop Dog among others .

The biggest film event in Kenya ,the Kalasha competition kicked off two days ago and if you are a film student ,film maker or both of them you have been invited to enter  entries and stand a chance to win this year.

The Kenyan  film industry has partnered up with Kenya film Commission and the French embassy to oversee the event that will run from 26th -30th October in Nairobi.

The 2015 nomination academy has also unveiled its 7 member jury who will  the nominees and get the finalists.Moreover the event primary objective is to  showcase Kenya as a major regional hub for film and Tv and post production and distribution across and all genres .

Tanzania sensational artist Ali  Kiba joined  Lupita Nyongo in  Nairobi ahead of the filming of the coke studio Africa.The two celebrities met in conference in which Lupita was spear heading of eradicating poaching of elephants in Kenya.

The multi -awarding  singer also released a song which got a massive airplay:Chekecha  Cheketua.Ali Kiba  who is also an ambassador for wildlife back in his country said he was looking forward to working with Lupita Nyongo in conserving the wild life and retain Africa's  glory.

Apparently Tamoi who is now facing attempted defilement charge, had worked with the family for only two weeks. Apparently, she was recommended for employment by close family friend.

The whole saga started out when Jaguar travelled all the way to Nigeria to do a remix on one centimetre with Iyanya after the two struck a deal .Lack of trust and alot of conditions under which the song would be released led to the break out of the two close musicians .

It was during the bingwa awards that singer Jaguar came out and blasted Iyanya of undermining him and he also revealed that Nigerians do not listen to Kenyan Music so he was not ready to do business with Iyanya .

Iyanya came out and stated that Jaguar was not ready to release his song and make it famous as planned.Speaking to a local station he also said that Jaguar is lazy .Kenyan Swag tried to reach him on phone to clarify this allegations but we could not reach him.

This new beef  between the two singers will not end well down the road as it will create a rift considering the fact that also sauti Soul did a remix with Iyanya .We sought to know what they know about the Oga but our calls could not be picked .
