President Uhuru ,4 Recce Squad Bodyguards Die In Road Accident

Four members of the Recce Squad  that protects the president died last Tuesday after being involved in an accident. It happened along the Isiolo -Marsabit highway.The four were  heading to Lonyangalani   to check the security situation ahead of the President's visit in the area to oversee a water project.








While confirming the incident the Regional Coordinator Gideon Amala   said that the rear right tire of the vehicle bursted  causing the vehicle to loose control.One officer was taken to Wamba hospital while the others who died on the spot were airlifted to Nairobi by Amref flying doctors.Then later the injured officer was airlifted also back to Nairobi on a different aircraft.

Just last week, a vehicle in President Uhuru's motorcade hit a 70 year old man in Mumias.

Ferndinand Waititu Should Be Arrested Orders Governor Kabogo

Governor William Kabogo  accused Ferdinand Waititu of  destroying property in the disguise of  fighting illicit brew.He further urged the director of prosecution and inspector general Boinett to take action and nab the Mp.

This is what Kabogo said
"What will stop this hooligans from attacking banks and claiming there is drugs there"The Governor was speaking at the headquarters where he was disbursing  sh300 million Biashara Funds cheques for the youths  ,women and those people with disabilities .
















The Governor further urged that the rule of law should be maintained .If someone has broken the law should arrested and prosecuted.
"If we continue with this malice ,the county will go un governable for the next two years "He further added.

He also suspended all the licenses that run illicit spirits and wines in the county .Kabogo also said that thuggery has no place in the Kiambu County and they will not hesitate to take action against any offender .

''I do not know how to throw stones but only develop projects  for the people ,'' he said

The accident that happened yesterday along Ongata Rongai road that nearly caused a heavy jam left one person dead and scores injured.The minibus veered off the road rolling several times  and landing on its side.Those who injured were rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital.The main cause of the vehicle rolling off is yet to be confirmed .

Lamu Residents Want Donkeys Dressed In Napkins

Lamu residents have come protesting the rate at which the donkeys are affecting their environment and drainage.They now want them dressed in napkins ,to lower the health hazard.
They were speaking during a fiscal strategy public participation forum at Lamu Fort on Tuesday.
Also considering the fact that donkeys are the main use of transport since the roads are narrow for vehicles ,the residents requested the county government to implement the proposed rule since it has worked successfully in Malaysia  and Indonesia.

Lamu women's rep Shakilla Abdalla recently said that all donkeys found loitering at night would be held and their owners fined.

Abdalla said the money collected would be used to clean the streets.

“The police should also arrest those riding donkeys at night. Donkeys don’t have headlights and there have been cases where they have knocked children down," she said.

The county government was urged  to hire more workers as a permanent   was being sorted out since also the number of donkeys are increasing in Lamu.

Nairobi Aviation Exposed @DennisOkari

Dennis Okari  last night on Sunday he exposed of the most underground syndicates where by students were being given certificates without working hard for them.He centered his investigation around Nairobi Aviation College. An undercover ‘student’ was able to enroll for an Engineering course despite explaining to the front office lady that he is a Std 6 dropout who can barely read or write.

The course itself requires a minimum grade of  C- KCSE, and this is a guy who did not even seat for KCPE. Another undercover ‘student’ was able to bribe a lecturer into receiving a certificate for only Sh4000.

Dennis Okari tried to secure a meeting with the officials of the school but it never went through since they could not be reached .Moreover he should have also exposed other institutions but this i guess was just an opener for us citizens to know what is really happening the ministry of education.

Is Mugabe The Next AU Chairman??? Read Out

The African Union may appoint Mugabe as the next chairman of  the union a move that will create mixed reactions considering the fact that President Mugabe is 90 years old.Mugabe is likely to succeed from Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz .



The veteran leader has ruled Zimbabwe since independence and he is also not likely to step down for the time being.Should he be appointed it will taint the picture of AU on a very bad side since it stands for democracy,justice ,good governance  and human rights.

However the move to appoint Mugabe has been met with resistance from various African leaders who asked not to be identified.It will not be a good sign .Also AU commission chief Nkosazana Dlamini -Zuma has differed with his deputy Erastus Mwencha  who feels that any leader should chosen.President Mugabe will be turning 91 next month and if he takes office he has alot of work ahead of  him .

It has been a week after the departure of Homa Bay Senator Gerald Otieno Kajwag  after passing away abruptly  due to heart attack .The ceremony of the viewing of the body went on smoothly despite the fact that it was disrupted by a woman claiming to the second wife of the late Senator
