Learn How To Cook Home Made Pizza

Many people love eating pizza  but have you ever thought of making one yourself?.Today on our first article we are going to give you the procedure of making a home made pizza.

 Ingredients 
     Pizza Dough
  1. 1  Tea Spoonful
  2. 2  Teaspoonful salt
  3. 2 Tbspoon  Olive Oil
  4. 1/2 cup bread flour
  5. 1 package of  active dry yeast 
Pizza  Ingredients

  •  Olive Oil
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Onions thinly sliced
  • Ham ,thinly sliced
  • Bell peppers ,stems and seeds removed well
  • Cornmeal
  • Italian Sausage cooked and crumbled
  • Pesto
  • Mushrooms thinly sliced
  • Feta Cheese Crumbled
  • Choped Fresh Basil
  • Parmesan  Cheese Grated
  • Pepperoni ,thinly scliced


                    METHOD OF MAKING PIZZA DOUGH
1)  Place the warm water in the large bowl  of  a heavy stand mixer,sprinkle the yeast and let it dissolve in 5 minutes .After 5 minutes ,stir it again if it hasn't formed quickly and later it will  begin to foam an indication it is active and  alive

2) Then mix the sugar,flour ,salt and olive oil on a lower speed using the mixing paddle attachment .Secondly replace the mix paddle with the dough hook attachment.Knead the dough until it gets smooth and  elastic for about 10 minutes.

3)  Spread thin layer of  the olive oil inside the bowl.Place the pizza dough inside the bowl turn it around so that it can get coated with the oil.Cover the dough with plastic wrap in a warm place
75-85 Degrees .The longer rise it will provide flavor of the pizza crust
N/b If you do not have a warm place in your house,heat the oven to 150 degrees and then turn it off and let it cool then place the dough in   for  it to rise.


                 Preparing the Pizzas 
1) Place a  pizza  stone on the third rack of your oven.Hit it 450 c for 30 minutes or preferably one hour

2) Remove the  plastic cover from the dough and punch it until it deflates  and divide  it into two .Form two rounds of dough,place each in its bowl and cover it with plastic then let it sit for 10 minutes

3) Prepare your desired  toppings .Note that loading up each pizza with  alot of toppings end up not crisp.About  a third cup each of the tomato  sauce and cheese would  be sufficient  for each pizza .One two mushrooms thinly sliced will cover the pizza 

4) Work on each ball at a time and flatten it with your hands on slightly flavored surface starting at the center and working outwards use your fingers to press the dough to 1/2 inch thick

5) Brush the top of the dough with olive oil .Use your finger tips to press down and making dents  along the surface of the dough to prevent  bubbling.Let it rest another another 5 minutes

6) Lightly  sprinkle pizza peel with corn meal .Transfer one prepare flattened  dough to the pizza peel.If the dough has lots of shapes in the transfer ,lightly shape into desired dimensions.

7) Spoon on the tomato sauce .Sprinkle with cheese and place  your desired .Topping on the pizza .

8)Sprinkle some cornmeal on the baking stone in the oven.Gently shake the peel to see if the  dough will easily slide .If not gently lift up the edges of the pizza and add  a bit of the corn meal.
Slide the pizza of the peel and on the baking stone in the oven.Bake pizza one more time  until the crust turns brown and the cheese  is golden about 10-15 minutes .
