Multimedia University Sets To Begin Evening Classes

Multimedia University of Kenya has set out a pace and for the first this coming semester will have a chance to learn in the evening if  that is one is working.

The university that is situated along Mbagathi Road  is praised for offering the best in terms of the Media and Communication considering the fact it has a radio station within its perimeters and  a television station.





The following courses will be offered during the September intake ,Diploma Journalism,Business and Commerce,Procurement and many other courses .Starting  evening classes will favor many since most of them will be working and they will get a chance to boost their studies and even hustle for their school fees that is equivalent to buying a plot of land .

We tried to reach the management for further inquiries but unfortunately their phones were switched off.Although one thing is certain that the opening dates are out and the freshers we report as from  1st September and the senior students will join them later

Nairobi University Student Admits Infecting Men With Hiv/Aids

When you read the title the first quiz that pops in your mind why ?.Yes Verah claims that during the last year  event in Nakuru  ,she was raped and when rushed to the hospital she was  diagnosed with the disease and that prompted her to start the campaign of infecting other men to revenge .

 “Well, I know people will condemn me for this but it is good I reveal the names of the 25 men who slept with me without protection during Masaku 7S. My name is Verah and I am a UoN student, Last year I attended a Rugby event in Nakuru and was ra’p*d by 6 men. When I went to hospital to check my status, I was told I am HIV Positive.

This was one of the most trying moment of my life. I wanted to commit suicide but then I thought about it and decided to revenge . My target is to infect 1000 men before I die and my mission has already started. I hate men for ra’p*ng me and whenever I see a Man, I look for all was to seduce him and most fall into my trap because I look beautiful and s3’xy…A woman any man would die for 

What a pity that the generation of today has turned into something else forgetting that they need to use protection during intercourse .Well who are we to judge below is the alleged list that she relieved.

Makerere Student Brutally Murdered and Dumped In Plantation

It saddens us that there people out still who are inhuman and that is a sign that we are all living in the end times .Shocking details have emerged of how a Makerere University was murdered ,raped and dumped in plantation in Uganda.

Desire Mirembe  Jemimah was killed and dumped in kawolo sugar  plantation on her way from Jinja after a prayer session.She was a student of Speech and Language Therapy the most expensive course in Makerere under the Sciences department.

Desire sent her mother a text that she was stranded in Jinja and needed cash but that was the last time she was heard of .Her fellow students created a hashtag in social media to alert the public of her missing.

Yesterday she was found dead at a morgue in Kawolo ,she beheaded and raped.In this difficult time may the family come into peace as they try to figure out what really happened to their beloved daughter.

KUSLA Union Meet @ Multimedia University Of Kenya

Multimedia University over the weekend hosted student leaders from various regions of the country among those in attendance leaders  were  from Jkuat ,Taveta,Meru,Masinde Muliro,Multimedia,Pwani,Kenyatta university and also Tuk  university.Among the things that they  discussed were;HELB issue ,Merging of private institutions with the public and the registration the new union Kenya Student Association Union (KUSLA).

The meeting also centered around the insecurity issue in campuses and  the relationship between the students and the community.They each gave the status of the security in their universities and they each suggested the measures that should be taken to avoid such incidents like the Garissa attack in learning institutions.

Finance leader from Multimedia Mugambi suggested that employing too many security officers will scare the students away but the school should just  hire few security personnel.

The issue of  Helb popped up and took most of the time with many leaders disagreeing on the issuing of the smart cards.They all came to an agreement that Ringera  should stop the underway deal to control the usage of Helb.

They further went ahead of saying that Baraton,Maasai Mara, among other campuses have betrayed their fellow comrades in that they accepted the usage of the card.Hence they all came to a conclusion that they should be banned completely since they do not benefit a comrade

As the meeting came to an questions were posed into why Babu Owino never showed up for the occasion .We tried to reach him on phone but it didn't go  through our correspondent at Nairobi University also could not be reached.
Many people will confuse KUSLA  for KUSU the one Babu heads but this one is new and it comprises of student leaders only.

Read Out Moi University Closed Indefinately

This evening Moi University students have been sent home by the school management after the school unrest during the elections .Property was destroyed and after the senate meeting ,they all came to a conclusion that the school should shut down


The question is why is there a letter that has been given to students for leave not stamped.After trying to reach the university management we still didn't get a  reply or maybe it was done in a hurry.

The  police have also been deployed to make sure that students leave the school immediately and of course that means that their studies will lag behind and also damage fee will be paid

Multimedia Rotaract Club Visits Overcomers-Ongata Rongai

This weekend Multi-media university Rotary Club  paid a courtesy visit to a children's home along Ongata Rongai road on your way to Kiserian.Most people usually  think that university students are always upto nothing especially when there are no classes but am here to proof some that there are those few who are willing to take charity work and donate their cash rather than have booze the whole weekend and become a nuisance to their friends and the community around them

The team led by their President Moha and vice president Kevin Eboya  led the rest of the members to Overcomer's  home;the home has kids from the low age up to high school students and indeed it was pleasure on their side to be visited.The Secretary of the club  Richard Ayan  also played a major role during the visit by making sure that everything was in order in terms of the meals and arrangement of the splitting of chores .

As the day proceeded the team was joined by the members from the Mother Club which is situated in Ongata Rongai.The President Patrick Mugo.

The group cooked for the kids chapatis,meat and they topped up with juice and not to forget the donation they made in terms of sanitary towels and other essentials for learning

They charity begins at home and indeed this group has made a good example being the closest neighbors of  Overcomer's they showed a good example.What are you waiting play a part in the society by helping the needy and assisting the less privileged it doesn't cost  much but you get blessed day by day when you help out .

Governor Alfred Mutua Graces Masaku Sevens Event

The biggest event went down this weekend at Machakos  County unlike the last event this one was a bit respectful.The county government made sure that traffic was good and  people were well behaved .
 The top boss in the county government didn't miss  the occasion too,Governor Alfred Mutua .For starters I congratulate him  for the amendments  .The previous event had been witnessed by people doing nasty things that left parents wondering whether there is a future for the young generation.
